Our Story - a serendipitous Discovery
Darren and Jennifer, organic grain farmers rooted in the heart of Wisconsin, have always believed in the power of thoughtfully grown, nourishing food. Years ago, they brought that passion to life by creating a wholesome snack from their family farm and sharing it with their community.
At a trade show, a chance meeting with the Doukas family changed their lives forever. As olive grove owners in Greece, the Doukas family shared the same deep respect for the land and love for their craft. What began as a warm invitation to learn about exceptional olive oil quickly grew into a meaningful, lasting friendship. Inspired by tradition, quality, and care behind it, Darren and Jennifer knew this was something special. Defiantly something worth sharing.

They began offering these products at local farm markets, where the response from the community was heartfelt and enthusiastic. With that encouragement, their vision continued to grow, expanding beyond the market table to reach more homes through their website, making it easier to share these exceptional foods near and far. But the passion didn’t stop there. In partnership with fellow farmers and entrepreneurial friends, Saucy Kitchen was born. A welcoming space dedicated to bringing incredible, high-quality foods to the community, while celebrating the people, stories, and passion behind them.
Saucy Kitchen is a brick-and-mortar store at 105 Winneconne Ave. Neenah, WI, where people from near and far come to enjoy a cozy, welcoming shopping experience. With over 800 handpicked items, we invite guests to explore, taste samples, and discover something new. From local products and handmade goods to unique artwork, our shelves are filled with treasures that reflect the heart and creativity of our community.
